YES!

The ROH show was even more awesome than usual. This was seriously the best ROH show I've seen and with the exception of the last match, all the matches were excellent. Aries VS Sydal absolutely stole the show. Matt and Austin really went above and beyond in what was without a doubt the best match of the night! Davey Richards impressed even with losing to Joe in his final Dayton appearance with ROH, and bitches got to meet Joe, not once but twice! And being close enough to touch not only Nigel but Chris Daniels naked abs was pretty damn awesome too. The only complaint I have is this new guy they have as ROH champ...now I've only seen him this one time, but when the first actual wrestling move I saw from him came some 20 minutes into the match...well I'm not impressed. The six man Mayhem match was freaking funny as hell and mad props to the little guy Pelle Primeau for taking more abuse than any other wrestler I think I've ever seen. And this is a prime example of why I love ROH so much: despite losing this match and pretty much being the whipping boy of the entire match, the ROH fans cheered his name at the end of the match!

Here I am anxiously anticipating yet another road trip to see a ROH show. It will be Joe's last Dayton show with ROH, which makes me sad...however I will get to see Brent, and word is my girl Serena will also be performing at the show. Plus my favorite skinny, white boy should be there so that will be nice. Yes there will be pictures!

I said I was listening damnit! Okay so sometimes I get discouraged and need to be reminded and fate seems to have her way of making sure I hear it when I need it the most!

I always say that if there is some weird, obscure illness or disease going around, I will get it...once again I am proven right. I have had a tender lymph node in my neck for the past week and a half. The last couple of days it has become excrutiatingly painful, so I decide to visit my Physician. She runs through all kinds of questions and even does a rapid strep test (which is negative, could have told ya that I KNOW when I have strep!) No other symptoms are present, no cough to speak of, no fever, no drainage...well she decides I do have a low grade fever and unilateral lymph node tenderness. Her diagnosis? Cat Scratch Fever...see? And yes I'm aware of the irony of that diagnosis! Hell I didn't even know that Cat Scratch Fever was a real disease! I thought it was just a song by Ted Nugent!

Just got home from the show and it was actually pretty damn good for a change! First match saw US Champ Chris Benoit take on Chavo Geurrero Jr. Very solid match from these two as was expected.

Next up was Sylvan Grenier vs Scotty 2 Hotty, YAWN!

Third match gave us Davari and The Great Kahli vs Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. I told Pam I would rather watch Tommy and Sandman wrestle each other instead of being subjected to the abject horror that is Kahli! On the fun side we got sprayed with Sandman's beer during his entrance which was pretty cool!

Second ECW match was Hardcore Holly vs CM Punk. Punk was way over but even Punk can't make that washed up never gonna be Holly look good. Why are the making the best damn wrestler on the show wrestle that idiot???????

I digress, the next match was well worth watching, Shane (I refuse to call him Gregory)Helms vs Matt Hardy. Great match with both guys giving great performances. And may I say how fantastic Shane looks?

This was followed by yet another great match as RVD took on Sabu in an extreme rules match. Chairs and tables but no ladders! LOL. Excellent match!

Next we watched the Brothers of Destruction take it to Ken Kennedy and MVP, here's another one that I look at and go "What the fuck were they thinking with this guy?" Undertaker looks amazing for his age, but he seriously needs to get Punk to help him with his eyeliner!

Test vs Bobby Lashley was next and it was a decent match for two big guys with little mat skills. All brawn and brute force here. Test looks much bigger than he did in his first run with the E though I think he should let his hair grow back out.

The final match was a steel cage match (at a house show no less!) Where Booker T faced off against Batisita. Nice match if a bit short, but that was to be expected.

Anyway, we had a good time and didn't feel cheated for a change. Checkout my scrapbook for pictures cause I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them in here!
